PM Legacy Scholarship

Overview Forty-five recipients will each receive a PM Legacy Scholarship award of $2,000. Selections are made by reviewing applicants’ academic record, leadership potential, involvement in extracurricular or community activities, submitted essays, and letters of recommendation. Eligibility and Required Materials To be considered, applicants must meet the following conditions and submit the listed documents: - Residency/Institution: Be a resident of — or enrolled at a college/university in — Pennsylvania, Georgia, or the Washington, DC Metropolitan Area (DMV), OR be attending a recognized HBCU (Historically Black Colleges and Universities). - Enrollment status: Be entering or currently enrolled in an accredited college or university. - Program of study: Provide proof of acceptance into, or current enrollment in, an accredited degree program with a major in a Human Services–related field (examples include Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, Sociology, Medicine, Nursing, Home Health, Public Health, and Public Administration). - Minimum GPA: Have at least a 2.50 grade point average. - Transcripts: Submit a copy of your final high school transcript if you are entering as a freshman, or a full college transcript if you are currently enrolled. - Recommendations: Provide two formal letters of recommendation (with contact information) submitted as PDF or Word documents. Selection is based on academic achievement, demonstrated leadership, community/extracurricular participation, strength of recommendations, and the quality of the essay.
