Evelyn Johnson Entrekin Scholarship
This award commemorates the late Evelyn Johnson Entrekin, a distinguished public health nursing leader in South Carolina. Ms. Entrekin served with SCDHEC for more than 20 years and guided her district to become the first in the state to earn national accreditation. The endowment is funded by her estate and additional gifts, and is designated for students pursuing a Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing.

In 1992 the Board of Directors of the Hampton Fund created a scholarship to encourage study in natural resources fields among South Carolina students. The award is intended to support in-state college attendance for students pursuing majors related to wildlife, fisheries, forestry and other natural resources disciplines. - Be a U.S. citizen and fulfill the qualifications for residency in South Carolina.
- International students, foreign-exchange students, and those enrolled in doctoral programs are ineligible.
- Be either a graduating high school senior or a currently enrolled college student carrying at least 12 graded credit hours as an undergraduate or at least 9 graded credit hours as a graduate student.
- Hold a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale.
