Anita F. Boorda Scholarship for the Performing Arts

Overview
The Anita F. Boorda Scholarship for the Performing Arts awards up to $2,500 to high school seniors who intend to pursue a degree in the performing arts (including Music, Theatre, Dance, or Production). The award may be renewed for up to four years.
How to apply
Applicants must submit the online CFSJC Scholarship Application, which becomes available in December and is due by February 15. Completing this single application makes students eligible for more than 20 scholarship opportunities. If you have questions, please email the scholarships staff or call (574) 232-0041. Eligibility requirements
To be considered for the Anita F. Boorda Scholarship, students must:
- Reside in one of the following counties: St. Joseph, Elkhart, Marshall, Kosciusko, Fulton, Pulaski, Starke, or LaPorte (Indiana) or Berrien or Cass (Michigan).
- Graduate from an accredited high school with at least a 2.5 GPA on a 4.0 scale by June 30 of the application year.
- Plan to enroll full time at an accredited, tax-exempt college or university and pursue a degree in Performing Arts, Music, Theatre, Dance, or Production.
- Note: preference will be given to applicants who were actively involved in the performing arts during high school.
