AATCC Foundation Textile Merchandising Scholarship — $2,000
Overview
This $2,000 award supports undergraduate study in textile merchandising and closely related fields.
Who is eligible
- Incoming first-year students (rising freshmen) or current undergraduate students
- Enrolled at a college or university located in the United States
- Pursuing a program of study in textile merchandising, retail, or management related to textiles
- Holding a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
- United States citizen or permanent resident (Green Card)
Note: Recipients may apply to receive the scholarship for a second year.
How recipients are chosen
- Evidence of steady academic progress toward the chosen degree
- Demonstrated financial need
- Documented work history, including internships and other relevant employment
Application deadline and notification
- Submit your application by February 28, 2026.
- Applicants will be informed of decisions by early summer.
Required application materials
- Resume or a letter summarizing work experience (internships should be included)
- Personal statement — freely describe your goals, aspirations, financial situation and challenges, and, if decided, your intended career path after graduation
- A copy of your most recent academic transcript
