Clyde Russell Scholarship
Scholarship Sponsored by Clyde Russell Scholarship Fund
Introduction
The Clyde Russell Scholarship Fund was established by the Maine Education Association through a trust set up by the late Audrey Lewis. The donor intended the Fund to promote cultural and educational opportunities for Maine residents, helping them expand their creative abilities in the arts, letters, and sciences. To fulfill this purpose, the Fund may award grants, loans, or gifts to Maine citizens or to educational institutions (or their departments) and may participate in education-aid programs whether publicly or privately sponsored.
Who may apply
The Trustees have defined two award categories:
1) Graduating high school seniors planning to attend a four-year college.
2) Graduating high school seniors planning to enroll in a Maine community college.
Award eligibility is restricted to applicants who are residents of Maine for reasons other than education.
Important dates
