Diller Teen Tikkun Olam Awards
Scholarship Sponsored by Helen Diller Family Foundation
Annually, the Helen Diller Family Foundation recognizes and rewards up to 15 Jewish teenagers who are making a significant difference in the world through their leadership initiatives. These young leaders, who are awarded $36,000 each, are addressing major issues in their communities, ranging from environmental conservation to social justice, and from educational accessibility to other significant areas.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Applicants or nominees should be between 15 and 19 years old as of January 8, 2026
- They should identify themselves as Jewish
- They must be residing in the United States
- They should be involved in volunteer work without receiving any form of compensation
- They should currently hold a leadership position in a project or initiative that aligns with the principles of tikkun olam, which translates to 'repairing the world'
The Helen Diller Family Foundation is committed to supporting various programs and institutions, both in the Bay Area and globally. The foundation's primary focus areas include education, science, and arts. By investing in Jewish teenagers, the foundation aims to provide enriching experiences that not only strengthen their Jewish identity but also enhance their leadership skills.
